The Rogow Middle School
Overview
The structure, content and goals of the Rogow Middle School reflect the current best practices in middle school education. During the past six years, we have improved our academic curriculum and school climate in numerous ways.
In order to develop the skill and knowledge base of students in an engaging and exciting manner, in preparation for the academic work of high school,
- We emphasize writing and research skills across the curriculum.
- We encourage all students to master pre-Algebra and Algebra math skills and concepts before they graduate.
- We integrate technology into all subjects, both Judaic and general.
- We emphasize the process and content of learning that is necessary to achieve and produce a final product.
- We encourage students to use and build upon their unique personal learning strengths and aptitudes.
- We hold annual “fairs” in science and Bible in which students present projects based on original research.
