Beth David is still the largest orthodox synagogue in the greater Hartford metropolitan area. During its more than sixty years in existence, the synagogue has been a center of Jewish cultural and spiritual activity for hundreds of families, thousands of people and untold numbers of visitors and friends.

Beth El Temple of West Hartford is a dynamic, diverse religious community committed to traditional Judaism as interpreted by the Conservative Movement. It provides excellence in the quality, and breadth in the scope, of its education and programming.
 

Beth Hillel Synagogue is a Conservative synagogue serving Bloomfield and the surrounding towns.  The congregation, led by Rabbi Gary Atkins, lay leadership and a group of volunteers, provides a warm and friendly atmosphere to a community of 270 families.

The Academy offers a Judaic and secular education, in addition to a well-rounded enrichment program. Our comprehensive programs give each child the opportunity to grow spiritually and form a lasting appreciation of our heritage and people.

CJEL’s mission is to assure the continuity of a vibrant Jewish people in Greater Hartford through quality and innovative Jewish education for learners of all ages. 

Congregation Beth Israel is a community of 900 families who come to participate in worship, Jewish education and social and spiritual rejuvenation. It’s a center of comfort, warmth, activity and volunteerism, where you’ll always find familiar, smiling faces — from the clergy to the office and custodial staff to the congregants.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford plays a unique role in strengthening Jewish identity, helping those in need and ensuring our Jewish future by partnering with our 25 beneficiary agencies dedicated to providing a tangible and personal impact on our Jewish faith, values and story. 

We emphasize health care that is tailored to meet individual needs, provide all but the most acute services on-site, without having to transport our residents and patients to other locations, and offer a daily presence of salaried, full-time staff physicians. All medical and nursing services are provided by Hebrew Health Care employees.

HHNE is the only co-educational, Modern Orthodox, secondary Jewish Day School between New York and Boston, and we are open to young men and women from across the Jewish denominational spectrum.

The Mandell JCC is a community of people of all ages, stages and beliefs who share laughter, learning, listening, and leading.  Members are part of a "neighborhood" where minds grow more active, bodies grow stronger, and friendships grow exponentially.

Young Israel of West Hartford is a warm community that has an impact beyond its size on the local Jewish community. We are a diverse group of families that share a commitment to Torah values and to looking after our community like family.

Yachad offers a wide range of programs for Jewish teens in grades 8 through 12.  We maintain a Jewish atmosphere that is warm, friendly, and supportive, bringing students, parents and staff together in an educational community.
