Schechter has so much to be grateful for!
A
s we begin the new school year — my second as Head of School — we have a lot to celebrate. Double-digit enrollment increases for the third consecutive year are a testament to the joyful and deep learning taking place every day! Our classrooms are full of discovery, connections, and creativity; our students develop skills, build impactful relationships, and bring our core Jewish values to life. A belief in the power of a Growth Mindset—that students learn best through hard work and risk-taking — is embedded in our culture.
Some of our exciting new initiatives include a Purim-focused school-wide STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) project and a sixth grade unit on Jews in the Civil Rights Movement that will culminate in a trip to Birmingham, Alabama. We are thrilled to send our 8th graders to Israel as a capstone experience of their learning at Schechter, a long-standing tradition for over two decades. Our graduates emerge with a strong Jewish identity, ready to build a better future for themselves and the greater community.
With your partnership, we will continue to enrich our academic program and Judaic studies, make a Schechter education affordable to all, and secure our bright future. Thank you for your generous support. You truly make a difference.
Todah rabbah!
